This autumn the fabulous, award-winning, scene-stealing Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (or ‘The Trocks’ to their friends), storm back into London for two glittering weeks… in size 12 pointe shoes.
Hurtling through the classical ballet repertoire with their inimitable blend of skill, grace and a wit as sharp as scissors en pointe, The Trocks have been a global phenomenon since they formed in New York in 1974.
Dancers, including Ida Nevasyneva and Olga Supphozova, present two programmes which effortlessly display their startling technical prowess and their no-less extraordinary make-up skills.
As the darlings of the ballet world, The Trocks combine a genuine love of ballet with parody and preening in their laugh-a-minute shows that will delight both The Trocks initiated and ballet novices.
Programme One (15 - 20 Sep) includes the show-stopping Swan Lake (Act II), Pas de deux, the Russian classic Paquita and Esmeralda.
Programme Two (22 - 26 Sep) includes Merce Cunningham-inspired Patterns in Space, Go For Barocco, a satire on Balanchine’s choreography, Les Sylphides and the UK premiere of Don Quixote.

I enjoyed the show but I did not find it hilarious as reviewed. Mildly amusing perhaps. The dancers are of course very talented.
Great entertainment coupled with first rate dancing
2nd time seen them and absolutely superb!! Highly recommend.
An excellent show full of humour and very good dance. Their Don Quixote was worth the ticket price alone, and as for the 'Riverdance' encore , I laughed til I cried !
Absolutely brilliant show. Dancing was perfect and oh so funny. A really good evening out. I am waiting for the show to come back again.
Fantastic fun, I was amazed at the dancing ability and the tongue in cheek humour had everyone laughing. A great evening out.
We enjoyed the production very much since I was not sure what to expect. The dancing and technique shown by the whole company was impressive as we are ballet lovers and watch the Bolshoi ballet's UK live broadcast every year. The novel comic twists to the performances only enhanced the enjoyment of the audience who laughed and clapped at the antics of the dancers.
What a fantastic show ! Adored the humour - in awe of the dancers' skill and beauty .
